Grand Canyon's glass walkway is ready for public now. It's been a long wait since the announcement. Grand Canyon Skywalk will become one of the most visited attractions at Grand Canyon.

The 80 yard skywalk, all-glass balcony extends beyond the canyon's edge. From the skywalk, it is a 4,000 feet drop to the Colorado River. You can see through the floor and experience the 4,000 drop view from the skywalk. The Grand Canyon Skywalk costed more than $30 million, and the construction was delayed for a while also.

Grand Canyon Skywalk will become one of the most visited attractions in the US in 2007. Don't miss to visit there when you visit Grand Canyon. It's also only 120miles away from Las Vegas.

It's the time of the year again and now it's official. Effective May 14, 2007, the US postage rate will increase once more. That last postage increase was in January 2006 and the one before that was back in 2002.

One interesting thing about 2007 postage increase is the introduction of a "forever" stamp which can be used as first-class postage even when rates rise in the future. In other words, no need to purchase the annoying 2-cent stamps on the next us postage increase. I thought it was very interesting. I will be probably purchasing as many stamps as I can before the next postage rate increase just to avoid paying more in the future.

Hate or not, now the US postage increase is official and you should mark your calendar once more. I think the increase is mainly because of the increase in fuel price. It is known that each penny increase in the price of a gallon of gasoline costs the post office $8 million. But they can't charge a fuel surcharge to its original rates.

Just remember that the new US postage rate will be

41 Cents (first-class mail) effective May 14, 2007

Here is the link for more details about the US postage increase 2007.
