Tax Rebate 2008

According to IRS, the Treasury will begin sending economic stimulus payments starting in May. More than 130 million households will be eligible for the tax rebate. To receive a payment, you must meet the following requirements:

Eligibility for Tax Rebate

Taxpayers must...

• have a valid Social Security number
• file a 2007 federal tax return
• have $3,000 of income

If you meet the requirements, you will receive up to $600 ($1,200 for married couples), and parents will receive an additional $300 for each eligible child younger than 17.

Tax Rebate Payment Schedule

Economic stimulus payments will be issued according to the last two-digits of your Social Security number. Here is the complete tax rebate schedule.
